This kit uses mostly extract, so tends to have very consistent results. It finished 2nd out of over 700 entries a few years ago, and benefits by extended aging, yet tastes great from the start. 3.3 lbs of pale liquid extract, 10 lbs of dry extract, along with added grains, hops, and adjuncts, and the partial mash recipe are included. This beer is about 11.4% ABV, 17 IBUs, and 10 SRM. It was originally brewed just to get rid of a bunch of extract, to fantastic results. We recommend Munich Lager yeast, followed by a dose of champagne or CBC yeast a few days before bottling.
