Annual. This ornamental variety produces fragrant, ruffled, deep purple leaves and light pink flowers. The vigorous, well-branched plants are 18-24 in. tall. A popular item for adding a different color to pesto, salads and vinegars. Approximately 5% of the plants have purple/green leaves.
