The conversion of sugar to starch is considerably slower both on the stalk and after picking. Since the seeds are shriveled, there are substantially more seeds per pound. These varieties REQUIRE ISOLATION by at least 250 feet in each direction. Cross-pollination will seriously affect the crop.
