Japanese mustard that looks like dark green dandelion. Spicy mustard flavor adds zing to salads. Commonly used both as a graceful bedding plant that 'floats' in the flower beds and as a sweet, mild mustard green that is ready to harvest in 3 weeks and will withstand heat longer than lettuce without bolting. The looks are deceptive: Beautiful, graceful, and prolific, but definitely tasty. Plants germinate under cold and wet spring conditions.
