The GE electric 1\/2 hp motor is a general purpose motor designed for industrial automation and motion control applications. With a service factor of 1.25 and rated load of 1\/2 hp, it is suitable for various business and industrial uses. This motor operates on AC current type with a single phase AC phase and a nominal rated input voltage of 115 V. The NEMA frame suffix 48Y indicates a specific frame size and design for this electric motor.<\/p>\n

This product has been unopened and has been sitting on shelf as new old stock. Box tag shows manufacture date of 1\/10\/1996. We have sold a few of these motors and have used a few, too. No problems have been encountered with them so far.<\/div>\n
