Shares many of the Hallertauer Mittlefruh characteristics. German Saphir Hop Profile This fine aroma hop has developed quite the cult following since its release in 2002. Saphir's parents are two proprietary breeds from the Hop Research Center in Hüll, Germany. It is a noble-like variety with a low Cohumulone content (12-17% of AA) and mild bittering.
