This high alpha Hop is typically selected to drive firm Hop bitterness while offeRing a medium range of Aromatic intensity. Herkules was bred from a cross berween Hallertau Taurus and a Hull male and released in 2005. It offers a unique aroma of spicy, pine, and peppery notes and is most commonly used as a bittering hop due to its high alpha acid content. Works great in many German style ales and lagers.
