Hops Au Super Pride 1 oz. Pellets

Super Pride is a seedless, high alpha acid hop. Like its mother Pride of Ringwood, Super Pride is predominantly used as a bittering hop. Apart from bittering, the influence on beer aroma is a combination of resin and fruit, with a milder impact than that of Pride of Ringwood. Mild and pleasant subtle resin and Fruit tones. Typical Alpha Acid: 12. 5% 16.3%. Pedigree: With an esteemed family history, Super Pride was bred in 1987 by Hop Products Australia (HPA) at the Rostrevor Breeding Garden in Victoria from a cross of a female Pride of Ringwood and an Australian bred male. She was introduced to the world in 1995, offering similar brewing traits to Pride of Ringwood, but with a higher alpha acid content. Commercial production for Super Pride began in 1998. A superstar in her own right, Super Pride has been one of the major hop varieties grown by HPA since 2002 and to this day is used for the bulk of bittering needs in Australian brewed lager. Hops Au Topaz 1 oz. Pellets

Topaz™ is a rare gem. Cultivar Number TC-85-70 Topaz™ is down to earth or bright and breezy, depending on how you apply her in your brew. Dry hopping with Topaz ™ results in resinous, grassy flavours; however, with later additions and in higher gravity brews, her true flavour qualities really begin to shine, as her pleasant, light tropical fruit (some say lychee) flavours become more pronounced. When ranked among other single hop beers by tasters at Brau 2012, Topaz™ was the most preferred. Pedigree: Topaz™ was an undiscovered gem for some time. A child of the 80s, born in the pursuit of high yields of alpha acid, the progeny was a big robust plant with a superb aroma, grown commercially for many years purely for alpha acid production. However she really started to shine at trade shows during 2007 and 2008, where brewing experts and novices alike were drawn to her superb aroma and consistently rated Topaz™ top-hop. Topaz™ was then presented to brewers for further...

Hops Czech Kazbek 1 oz.

Kazbek Hops Czech Kazbek Hop Profile Kazbek hops were developed in the Czech Republic and were the first aroma variety in a wave of new releases. Kazbek was officially released in 2008, but the cross for Kazbek hops was actually made back in 1984 when a wild Russian variety was crossed with the daughter of Saaz and Northern Brewer. It is named after one of the highest mountains in the Caucasus Range. Kazbek hops brew up as a "Super Saaz" of sorts. It is bigger with aromas of citrus, sweet fruits, and berries, but still has that classic noble spice. Hops Czech Premiant 1 oz. Pellets

Premiant, meaning prized or prize-winning, is moderately bittering with a low cohumulone ratio. This makes it an ideal neutral bittering agent, especially for Pilsners. Released in 1996, it is a descendant of Northern Brewer and often employed by brewers in Belgian Pilsners and is also well suited to Belgian, French and German Ales as well. This versatility is perhaps one reason that breweries dabbling in Czech or Belgian styles have a strong preference for Premiant. Also Known As Czech Premiant Characteristics Neutral bittering, slightly spicy Purpose Aroma Alpha Acid Composition 8%-12.5% Beta Acid Composition 4.5%-8% Co-Humulone Composition 22%-23% Country Czechia Cone Size Cone Density Seasonal Maturity Early Yield Amount 2000-2300 kg/hectare (1784-2052 lbs/acre) Growth Rate Resistant to Tolerant to downy and powdery mildew Susceptible to Storability Ease of Harvest Total Oil Composition 1.1-1.8 mL/100g Myrcene Oil Composition 35%-50% Humulene Oil Composition 25%-35% Caryophyllene...
