This hop blend is named for the overwhelming tropical dance explosion its aroma evokes. Sensory: Complex aroma characterized by juicy tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), stone fruits, candy, and orange tangerine. Brewing Application: HS Zamba® is perfect for late kettle and dry hop additions for big juicy and hazy IPAs, or any other hop-forward ale or lager. Early brewing trials showed the fruity character exhibited in sensory carried through into the finished product.

Pacific Gem™ (13-15 % AA) A solid bittering hop with spicy black pepper and berry fruit aroma characters. Breeding: Pacific Gem is a Triploid alpha type bred from the New Zealand variety “Smoothcone” crossed with Californian Late Cluster x Fuggle. Developed through the New Zealand Hop breeding programme and released in 1987. Selection: Pacific Gem contains a good balance of oils which constantly contributes to its aroma score. A very pleasing hop with useful bittering potential with Alpha Acids at 13 % and above. Loral Hop Profile Loral®, formerly known as HBC 291, provides a more traditional yet unique hop character, providing the floral and herbal notes one would expect from a fine noble aroma hop. Its mother is the U.S. developed aroma variety Glacier; the grandmother being the long-established European noble aroma variety known as Tardif de Bourgogne originating in the Bourgogne region of Eastern France. The father is a son of the U.S. developed Nugget variety. Loral® is characterized by having numerous small, dense cones with moderate alpha acids. AROMA PROFILE The aroma profile of Loral® has been described as a “super noble hop” with its wonderful floral and herbal notes followed by a backdrop of citrus and earthy character.
