Our Dry Hopped American Pale Ale (APA) is charged with American hops to create a bold, aromatic ale. Assertive hop flavor joins the pine/citrus aroma characteristic of American hops to balance the full body provided by North American malts.
Our Belgian Chocolate Stout amplifies the traditional drier versions from Ireland for a bolder, black brew. The addition of both roasted barley and chocolate malted barley give our Stout undertones of chocolate, molasses and dried fruit. The beer is generously hopped with Goldings hops to balance the sweetness from the malted barley. This beer is about 6.6% ABV. It is closely related to another winter beer we brew, called Chocolate Raspberry Stout
While most of our building was built with Cream City brick from Racine’s quarry located at what is now the Racine Zoo, the lean-to addition to the building was torn down in the 1890’s and rebuilt using Chicago Red style bricks. So here is the Red Ale to go with the Cream Ale representing our building’s past. This is a malty brew, initially sweet on the palate, it finishes with a pleasant dryness.
Our Belgian Chocolate Raspberry Stout, our winter version of the classic, amplifies the traditional drier versions from Ireland for a bolder, black brew. The addition of both roasted barley, chocolate malted barley, and real raspberry hints give our Stout undertones of chocolate, molasses and fruit. The beer is generously hopped with Goldings hops to balance the sweetness from the malted barley. This winter beer was the favorite at the Door County, WI Beer Festival, but you can drink it here.
